March 8 (Saturday): Spring Tune-Up and Problem Solving CLAREMORE INDOOR ARENA
TWO SESSIONS: 1-3 pm or 3-5 pm
This workshop is ideal for someone getting back in the saddle after the winter off, or getting your new horse some saddle
time before the season starts. Brief instruction on safety, handling and tack; and will spend most time on a great true western
seat at a walk, trot, lope and transitions.
Will also address specific issues participants have with their horses.
***$60/participant – negative coggins required on all horses – limited to 4 riders per session
***This workshop is open to participants 14+ years of age; under 18 require helmet
March 17-19 (Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday): Spring Break One-Day Camp CLAREMORE, OK
Pick ONE day: 9 am - 4 pm
Make spring break fun for your child! Choose from Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday - and bring your child for a fun day of
horses, crafts and games. The day will focus around horse activities and be very educational, teaching safety around and on
horses. Each participant with be assigned a horse to care for and learn about, and make crafts to commemorate their day.
If your child has a horse - you are welcome to bring him/her - or use a safe and reliable Stay in the Saddle lesson horse.
***$60/participant (single day fee) - lunch provided; helmets required and available at arena
***This workshop is open to participants 7-15 years old
March 29 (Saturday): Pasture and Trail Riding GY Ranch, BIXBY, OK
2:00 - 4:00 pm
Get comfortable with out-of-the-arena riding: no fear, no control issues – experience fun and freedom with happier/better
behaved horses. Individual and group work, guaranteed to give you the tools you need! Will address common rider
mistakes, appropriate fixes, as well as obstacle work that will strengthen your relationship with your horse.
***$50/participant - negative coggins required - no limit on participants
***This workship is open to participants 14+ years of age; under 18 require helmet
